| July 2009 cancellations, but I hear we have had several more shows than other districts because of the weather. Our last two shows were great!!! For those of you who missed the fun show we had, you missed a great time. Thanks to Kevin and Marilee for bringing the movie and projector. I would like to Thank the Wansing’s for donating their arena and all the time they spent on our show at their house. I would also like to thank Tobin Schweikert for donating his tractor for our Odessa show. He did a great job of getting the arena ready. We have had several new members join, so please make them feel welcome. I would like for us to do a membership drive. Please give me your ideas, also for every new member you get to join; you will get a free entry fee for open. I will try to get the shows worked posted this month, remember you must work 6 shows to qualify for awards. We had a really great State show and the results can be found by going to the state link on our front page. We only have one show scheduled in July because of the heat and our youth attending NBHA youth world, Wrangler and High School National Finals. Good luck to all of these youth. If you are attending Youth World, Lisa would like to know because she has a pizza party for all the Missouri Youth. Please let her know. We will be changing some dates around this fall, we will be rescheduling the show from June 28th, and Marshal Saddle club is not going to be able to have their show. We are working on new dates and locations. We will be continuing to have added money at the shows as long as long as the numbers stay up. We also have obtained insurance for the arenas that are owned by our members, and for the arenas that require it. If you are able to get sponsors, it would be helpful. We have a little below $6000.00 in the account right now. This is twice the amount that we started with last September. Please remember to buy your raffle tickets for the 20X hat donated to us by The Hat Doctor in Warrensburg, also the bid for the NFR tickets. These items will help with our awards. I would also like to thank our wonderful concession stand committee. Please continue to donate items; this has been paying for our arena fees. I am really grateful for all the help I have been receiving at the shows. We could not have such successful shows without everyone’s support. Ya are awesome!!! Please let me know if you would be interested in a buckle series this fall and a location where you would like to see it. Please also let me know your comments on the arenas we have been at, so I can start on a schedule for next year. Please let me know some new arenas that you think would be great.
