Congratulations to all the MO-01 members who traveled to and competed at the BBR World finals!  Caitlin Benjamin one of our new members went into the finals with the fastest time in the qualifying goes and finished in the top placings in the final round.  Final results can ge been seen at www.betterbarrelraces.com

Heather Plummer our 2011 1D Open Champion for our district won Reserve 1D in the Final Go of the BBR World Finals - Congratulations Heather and Corona!!!

Congratulations also goes to Toni Samples and Tracie McGraw for qualifying and bringing home some money as well.  Great job representing MO-01 against the best horses in the world!

Lynn Thompson also won the 3D in the Insurance race on Sunday - Congratulations!

All District Results are posted!!!  Points are now updated!  It is truly an exciting year for MO-01!  I am so impressed with our membership and participation in events and what great things that are going on within District 01!!!  We have lots of new members, lots of tough horses and lots of friendships developing - keep it up!

Some statistics to share. . . out of 594 entries Saturday and Sunday (the point shows) we had the second highest number of entries - District 04 had 176 and 01 was close with 155, 05 had 86 to be the 3rd in the number of entries for the weekend.  On Saturday out of 208 entries we had 55 entries, basically a 1/4 of the entries in the Open!

Sunday afternoon proved to be very exciting - we had members placing in all 4 divisions in the Open and 4 of the top 8 1D horses were District 01 - Toni Samples won with a 14.403 (last run of the day), Delaney Stewart was 2nd, Nicole Toalson finished 7th, Jenalyn Felton finished 8th out of 215 entries!  Congratulations to all the members who place throughout the weekend and brought home money.

It is truly exciting to watch this district grow!  Please be working on Sponsorships - check out the Sponsorship Incentive Program I have put in place for members to win prizes for their efforts and help grow our year end award account into something amazing.  I am working on some corporate sponships for the year end awards to help stretch our dollars as far as we can to be able to give out more to each winner at the end of the year!

Lone Wolf Arena, Cleveland, MO - start time for warm ups is now 10 am, PeeWees will not start before 1 pm - BBR Approved
Not too late to nominate for the "Cover Your Horse in Magnets" Tour - PHT Magnetic blankets to each division winner of the Open in the Series - Arena Awards!!!  Everyone entered before 12 noon will be in the DRAW posted at 12:30 pm - all other entries will be at the end but MUST enter prior to the first horse running the class (NBHA rule)


It is NOT too late to nominate for the Tour !
